BURN BAN EFFECTIVE IMMEDIATELY
OILSPRINGS / SOUTH ENNISKILLEN
Effective August 11, 2025
As a result of the recent extreme temperatures and dry conditions, the Oil Springs/South Enniskillen Fire Department will not be permitting any rural burning (this includes all types of recreational fires) nor be issuing any outdoor rural burn permits at this time.
This burn ban will remain in place until a notice lifting the ban is released.
Oil Springs/South Enniskillen Fire Department reminds citizens to abide by the Open Air Burning By-Law (Oil Springs 679 of 2015) not to conduct recreational burning during any of Environment Canada’s “Air Quality Advisories”.
